You vs the Year

You Vs. The Year was a year long challenge on the Map My Run fitness tracking platform in which users were challenged to run 1000km in 2016.

The first experience coincided with the launch of the challenge and allowed a user to customize the “You Vs. The Year” logo with their own name.

The second utility was designed to drive engagement with the challenge over the course of the year; it allowed users to create a dynamic progress bar to use as an overlay to their social profile photos.
